Opens today the Multimedica Marelli Vaccinal Center from the collaboration between Gruppo Multimedica and Campari Group
Sesto San Giovanni (MI), 7 May 2021 - The MultiMedica Marelli corporate vaccination center, born from the collaboration between Gruppo MultiMedica and Campari Group, was inaugurated today in Sesto San Giovanni, Milan. At the service of a wide-ranging socio-health and economic project intended to promote the vaccination campaign in the Lombard industrial system for the whole of 2021, the space represents a concrete opportunity to guarantee vaccination to the largest possible number of workers of Lombard companies, in the shortest time possible.
Thanks to a virtuous partnership between two important local realities, such as MultiMedica and Campari Group, it was possible to reconvert and adapt the large spaces of a disused building in the historic headquarters of Ercole Marelli, in Sesto San Giovanni, creating an Extraordinary Territorial Vaccinal Center in a very short time.
With an area of about 2,000 square meters, the MultiMedica Marelli Vaccination Center has 10 vaccine lines and is able to guarantee up to 200 vaccine administrations per hour, for a total of 2,000 per day.
“The Marelli MultiMedica Vaccinal Center is the first hub designed ad hoc for companies, which will be able to immunize their collaborators here” declares Daniele Schwarz, CEO of Gruppo MultiMedica. “We see this service as an act of social and political responsibility, in the noble sense of the term: each new hub is a step forward towards mass immunization, the only solution that will allow us to get out of the crisis and return to carrying out our activities. I thank Campari Group - continues Schwarz - for having collaborated, with its support, in the rapid construction of what is the fourth vaccination center for MultiMedica and represents the first healthcare activity carried out by us within the former Marelli area. This compendium represents an important part of Italian industrial history; purchased by the MultiMedica Group in 2020, it is currently the subject of an important urban redevelopment and regeneration project, aimed at creating the Marelli Innovation District, which will host the new headquarters of IRCCS MultiMedica ”
“Since the beginning of the pandemic, Campari Group has been at the forefront of the fight against Covid-19 through donations, the production of sanitizing gel when it was not available and activities in support of institutions, hospitals and local communities in the various countries where we operate. In continuity with this commitment, we are proud to support the MultiMedica Group in this important initiative on our territory: a concrete action to support the anti Covid-19 vaccination campaign in a crucial phase for the restart of the country ", commented Bob Kunze-Concewitz, CEO of Campari Group.
