Campari announces its return as a protagonist at the 80ᵗʰ Venice International Film Festival - La Biennale di Venezia

Together with the iconic Campari Lounge, this year a new location will be the protagonist hosting the brand’s initiatives: the unique Hotel des Bains, completely renewed, will be open 13 years after its closure, to celebrate the history and the spark of magic of Italian and international Cinema.

Venice, July 25th 2023 – From August 30th to September 9th, Campari will bring its Red to the 80th Venice International Film Festival – La Biennale di Venezia through its unique Passion and Creativity.

The interaction of Cinema big starts with the young emerging talents will be the core theme leading Campari’s initiatives as Main Sponsor of Biennale Cinema 2023 for the sixth year, the fil rouge that always perfectly identifies the soul of the brand, icon of the Italian aperitif par excellence.

Campari exclusive events will take place in two incredible unique locations. The Campari Lounge – at the Terrazza Biennale, right in front of the Palazzo del Casinò – the must-see spot to talk about movies and to feel the Lido’s vibes.

Also at this edition of the kermess, those who will cross the lounge, will have the opportunity to taste a special list of cocktails created and served for the occasion by Camparino in Galleria, the legendary bar opened by Davide Campari in Milan's Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II in 1915.

On Friday, September 1st, Campari will reopen – after 13 years – the famous Hotel des Bains for its exclusive red party, to celebrate this extraordinary hotel so rich in history. In fact, since 1900, it has perfectly mixed glam and avant-garde, becoming an inspiration for the greatest literary and cinematographic works in Italy but also worldwide. Characterized by his Belle Epoque style, the Hotel des Bains is full of magic, hosting since its opening the most important scenes of Venice International Film Festival, the oldest film festival around the world.

Campari will host much more events during the whole Biennale Cinema 2023 and many guests will perform and interact throughout the 11 days.

Last but by no means least, the Campari Passion For Film Award will sign its sixth edition, celebrating and rewarding the extraordinary contribution and passion of directors’ closest collaborators and core teams, to every movie.

As Main Sponsor, Campari confirms its commitment to Cinema, through its Red Passion, that element capable of moving the creative instinct hidden in each of us, accompanying guests and spectators on a real journey into Passion and Creativity for the Cinema.
